The name might be LogMeIn, but the motto should be SignMeUp.
The fact that it's free to use for multiple remote PCs, with reasonable monthly plans if you need more--five computers for $20 per month or $200 per year--makes this remote-access program instantly appealing. The program differs from its competitors in that the application runs in your Web browser. If you're running Firefox, it asks to install a plug-in and then opens an emulator of the remote PC in a new window. If you have a lot of tabs open, LogMeIn will slow down your browsing and possibly your CPUs clock speed a bit.
The control window gives you some standard options such as Ctrl-Alt-Del (which kills the connection) and changing the view settings, as well as tabbed access to adjust the connection setting. The 256-bit SSL encryption and dual passwords--one for the program and one for the remote PC's log-in--are welcome protections.
You must upgrade to take advantage of the file transfer and synchronization abilities, but creative users should be able to find ways around that restriction for small files. Still, for the functionality and the price, LogMeIn is an excellent program.

Pros: Works very well ! Very good software.
Cons: wait, let me think, hmmm.... after 15 mins.... man this is difficult than i thought !

Pros: Easy to use web interface. Extra tools/settings make using this a breeze. Setup is SUPER simple. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, you get the picture.
Cons: No file transfer in free version. No remote sound in free version.

"Though Clearly A Marketing Tactic It Does Partially Deliver"
Pros: Other reviewers are correct regarding this software download. It is essentially a marketing tactic as the core functionality that the description speaks of is only available to paying subscribers for $199 a year. The features are there (I did not join but instead uninstalled at day 16) and they work very well and I highly recommend it but because of the deceptive marketing tactics I will not rate it a 5 star. Honesty and integrity must be rewarded.
Cons: The software is rather quite excellent and if they were honest in the description I would have rated it much higher.

"Good Tool, but have restrictions"
Pros: Good tool for remote access
Cons: Can't make it work with Active directory, workgroup PC to workgroup PC only.. PtoPoint only
