From Spryka :LiteMail allows you to customize your outgoing e-mail with as many fields as you want. It allows you to import data from several formats including Microsoft Access and Excel. You can export to various formats, too. LiteMail can send plain text and HTML as well as multiformat messages. It includes a fully featured, context-sensitive message editor. You can also send messages in HTML and apply the same customizations to them. Any local images used in the HTML message can also be embedded so that your recipients get the entire message--no more red Xs. LiteMail comes with a built-in express mail server for fast, multithreaded delivery and instant delivery status information. But if you prefer, you can still opt to use your ISP's SMTP mail server. LiteMail can process incoming subscription and unsubscription requests as well as bounced messages from your POP3 server.
Version 3.1 adds update existing contact list, import from ADO/ODBC, and validate e-mail addresses options.

"I am still waiting for my money back"
Pros: Appart from it just not working, I quite like the database management features of this product. BUT DON'T BUY IT.
Cons: I am not fool, I know how to use this type of software. Initial investigations looked good. BUT it doesn't properly format emails for outlook or thunderbird. It is FULL of bugs, it crashes a lot, it takes ages. Last but not least the 30 day money back guarantee is worthless, THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOU MONEY. DON'T BUY IT, there are better out there what ever your needs.

Cons: this software does not send html emails to gmail, yahoo, aol or any other web-based email. The company does not respond to support emails or refund requests.

Pros: Easy installation and removal.
Cons: Program was not able to open a Text file.

Pros: I like that I can create my own fields and that I can get automated subscription cancellations.
Cons: Just a bit confusing to a newbie like me. Hardest part was exporting from Outlook Express, which forced me to export my whole contact manager, when really all I wanted was to export one group.
