From LinkTek :LinkFixerPlus for AutoCAD gives users of Autodesk AutoCAD r13 through r2005 files the ability to: Move or rename linked drawing files in batch, using sophisticated rename rules, without causing broken references. Safeguard healthy links in files and automatically fix them when they become broken. Generate a Broken Link report listing all of the files containing broken references. Generate a Regular report, listing each file followed by a list of the files it links to. Generate a Cross-reference report listing each linked file followed by a list of all the files that point to it. Fix broken references by performing sophisticated global search-and-replace operations on all of the links contained in batches of drawing files.

"LinkFixerPlus for AutoCAD does what it says it does."
Pros: We have to periodically update project folder and file names when our project names change. In the past this has resulted in numerous references to xrefs becoming broken that then had to be manually fixed. LinkFixerPlus is great because it helps me to make these project name changes without breaking any reference links in the drawing files. And we can document and validate each of the xrefs that are referenced in each of the drawing files with the reports it has available. And it is fast!
Cons: It took a few minutes to figure out how to best use the program for our needs, but the wizard screens and tutorials were helpful.
