This application may help you learn basic Spanish vocabulary, but the demo disables most of the truly helpful features. We like how Linguata Spanish aids memorization by letting you associate images with words and change words' size and color.

On the plus side, we appreciate the large amount of word lists, including those for vehicles, zoo animals, and parts of the body. In theory, the program lets you test yourself via a few methods, including sentence building, pronunciation, spelling, and listening.

However, as none of these features is available in the demo, you'll have to make do with simply looking at the included words and manually memorizing them. Linguata Spanish works for simple vocabulary building, but this trial version isn't appropriate as a full-blown language tutor.
