It gets points for simplicity, but this keylogger can't be hidden from experienced users. LightLogger lacks an interface. It starts logging on install, and you merely invoke the keystrokes display as needed. The log is a simple HTML page that displays the application and its keystrokes.
The keystroke display is very basic. You have no idea where in the application the keys were pressed. LightLogger fails to track backspace and delete keys. An option to display passwords failed to reveal any, but they were displayed in the regular logs. Of course, this application doesn't log any mouse movements or tabbing in windows. Saved passwords that aren't actually typed aren't captured either.
This program is simple enough to operate for the most novice of users, but it leaves an obvious process easily found using Task Manager. The program's home page is in Russian and there is no local help screen. Uninstalling the program reboots your machine even if you choose not to do so immediately. If you can't afford a full-featured keylogger, this freeware might do the job for you. That is, if you only have novices using your system.

"Probably what most people are looking for"

Pros
The version I installed works great as advertised. The small interface is pictured above. So it's very easy to configure or pull up the records you want to view. Nothing fancy, it just works without much attention.
Cons
Everything is very simple, but don't most people prefer that?

it shows an option of screen shots but when I click it, it only opens the folder which is empty.
Summary
I have used many key-loggers but every one has disadvantage in it. But when I use this key-logger I found it full with no disadvantage. Anti virus can't detect it and it also runs in hidden mode and the biggest feature of this product is that it is completely free. I must thank heavenward.ru for their hard work for providing me this valuable product

"Lightweight but gets the job done for free"

The only free keylogger I've found that runs undetected by my two malware programs. Loads when my computer boots and captures Windows logon and everything thereafter.
Cons
I would prefer an option to enable/disable screen captures. Although the file sizes for these are optimized to be small, I still like to delete them from time to time.

A simple, bare-bones application but it flies under the radar of my computer security software?and it's free. In the current version, no evidence of the program is evident in Task Manager, and locations of keystrokes within applications are displayed. Also, LightLogger support addressed a complaint I had about LightLogger and corrected the problem within 24 hours!

"Virus! Don't download"

Summary
Don't download this program because my Avira anti virus came up saying that it had a virus in it. I've had this program before I think and it was great. It did it's job but it's not worth downloading because of the virus.

Kept getting error message - "The driver is not loaded". No troubleshooting help is available.

Useless.
Install leaves a txt file in the Windows/System32/Drivers folder that says the driver failed and advises to install the latest version of the software --- DON'T DO THIS!!! THE LATEST VERSION IS INFECTED WITH A TROJAN --- BE WARNED!!!
