The sole purpose of this simple toolbar is to take you to the home page and three sections of the LawyerIntl.com Web site. It works, but just doesn't seem worth the space it takes up. LawyerIntl.com Toolbar has two buttons and a search field, all going to the publisher's Web site. The company's logo serves as a link to the home page.
There's not much to say about the links; the button labels define the end result. You either go to the Article page or get served up a random legal word or phrase. The search tool is pretty limited as well and only looks up words or phrases in the LawyerIntl.com dictionary. You'll have to use the site's search feature for more targeted lookups or to search the entire site. Despite the limited features, the toolbar wouldn't share space with other browser add-ons. It stretched across the entire browser window but was more than half-empty. This unused real estate just highlights LawyerIntl.com Toolbar's lack of extras, including the nearly standard toolbar features like a pop-up blocker or Internet search tool.
You won't have any problems installing or using this freeware program, but a link in your favorites menu seems nearly as effective and you won't have to give up any browser real estate. We pass on the LawyerIntl.com Toolbar, which would be better served up as a desktop or home page widget.
