Version: Lavasoft Personal Firewall 2
""Lavasoft" used to be a great company."
Pros: I'm not going to review this firewall but I'd like to post a thought. I just don't get whats going on at "Lavasoft". It's August 2007 people and they seem to have forgotten that theres a new operating system by "Microsoft" out and it's been out for seven months now. So many other companies have released "Vista" compatible software but "Lavasoft" hasn't. Theres a couple of free firewalls out that work on "Vista" and a few paid firewall applications that work with "Vista" to. Some are integrated into internet security suites that work with "Vista". I used to love this company but this and "AdAware 2007" just don't cut it for me. Besides, why would anyone pay for a firewall when theres "Zone Alarm", "PC tools Firewall" and "Comodo Firewall Pro"? These are all free and two of them work with "Vista". I hope they get it together soon because I have lost the respect I used to have for "Lavasoft". Man, I just don't understand whats going on at "Lavasoft" these days.
Cons: No comment. See my comments in pros.

Version: Lavasoft Personal Firewall 2
Pros: Easy to download and install
Cons: Even after installation and setting up some exceptions for basic internet work, all my browsers failed to function, so I had to uninstall it and go back to MS.
I'll try again when I have three or four hours to work out what is wrong with it.
Uninstall took two attempts. Eventually went back to system restore, the chicken solution.

Version: Lavasoft Personal Firewall 2
"Simple, easy to understand and with a great learningsystem."
Pros: The self-learning system. Very handy
Cons: More overall controll over ports and perhaps a system in which you can se exactly how much bandwith ports and processes are using. A visual routing system would be nice too.

Version: Lavasoft Personal Firewall 2
Pros: I like everything about this software, but I especially like the fact that it lets me decide whether or not I want certain sites to get through. Some I have tried, just made the decision on its own, therefore not letting some of my favorite sites get through. This software is quite good!
