The main features of LANcet Chat are absence of an allocated server and perfect built-in Antiboss system. It works in a conference style where participants all have equal rights. The users of LANcet Chat are office workers, students of universities or home-LAN clients. Individual users can use LANcet Chat for fast productive dialogue at that time when usual means of dialogue (such as phone, ICQ) are not accessible or expensive. The Antiboss system allows to use LANcet Chat even at the very-angry-boss offices when you cannot do on the workstation anything but work. Version: LANcet Chat 1.0 build 211
Pros: Its very quick to install, and no setup what so ever. Allows you to change you font, set your sex, and private msg (such as the wife or tell your son in secret he can stay on longer lol) So far as I can tell I dont see any downfall. Dont need a prog that shares programs as we use shared folders already.
Cons: There is no minimize to system tray option, so it takes up space in my busy window bar, which I hate but for free it will work for now.

Pros: highly recommended!
no icon is display even you minimize or hide the programme. suitable for those who work under highly tight supervision of bosses...can chat through conference with all users at once...even private chat.simple installation with minimum space required.it provides the most basic function which a LAN chat programme has.most of all....it's free! thanks so much...
