"Pictures with Japanese words & sound"
Version: L-Lingo Japanese 2.0
Pros
Excellent for learning Japanese. Almost like Rossetta Stone but no help with pronouncation. Has English meaning with pics to distingish actions or objects unlike Rossetta Stone. Pics and characters easy to distingish.
Cons
Reviewing a section you miss is not easy. But overall very user friendly.
Summary
Over all I like the product and is worth the download. Very well organized and user friendly. The softwere programers should be proud of this product. The pictures are distinict and the translated English gives a better understanding of the object or action. Example, there is a pic of a girl moving, the English tells you she is running which helps allot with the word assiocation to the Japanese being spoken so you don't mistake her for jumping or running. Down side it does not teach you hiragana or katakana but has phonetic spelling to help with understanding sounds. The pictures are vivid and the words that appear on the screen help associate very well. I think this is a buy worthy product if you are not willing to spend money on Rossetta Stone.
