KoolMoves sells itself on Flash animation, but there's more to it than that. The Flash-based design tool is the best we've seen, offering a nice mix of basic and advanced tools and options for a wide range of projects. The interface is well organized, hewing closely to Macromedia's style of graphical organization. The features are endless. You can draw an image, implement advanced object-manipulation by adding a skeleton to any created shape, and mix in MP3 or WAV audio with ease. Its other attractive features include masking, tweening, and support for Flash MX action scripting. Tutorials accompany you all the way through the program. The help file, although traditionally made, is outstanding. Just a quick glance at the text-effects menu will sell you on the software. The trial version spoils the joy by not letting you save the animations you produce, but that's more inducement to register immediately.Publisher's description

It features libraries of text effects, Flash templates, and clip art. For advanced users, it has Flash 8 action scripting, interface components, and bones for character animation.
Version 5.7.2 has some bug fixes and a few minor improvements.
What's new in this version:
- Added automatic centering of animation in Text Effects and Animated Clip Art preview windows.
- Extended action script variable names and movie clip/dynamic text/component object names to include non-ANSI characters.
- Extended action script editor to handle non-ANSI characters.
- Fixed scripting problem associated with using a function that normally returns a value in a situation where the return value is not used.
- Fixed fade in/out effect for symbol shape with... see all new features

Version: KoolMoves 5.7.2
Pros: Everything about this program is top notch! It makes the competition look very out of date. The price is amazingly low for what this program offers. Another nice thing is that there is an entire community built up around this software. You can get answers to questions, download tutorials and even download files to use with KoolMoves! Absolutely top of the line.
Cons: I don't like that I can't just have this program all to myself! Seriously, it's going to be a shame when everyone catches on to this one. In the meantime, KoolMoves makes me look like a Flash genius!

"A fantasic product for anybody"
Pros: Well where do I start. Koolmoves is a fantastic flash programme. Built into customized actionscript and full html integration. This product is worth its weight in gold. A real rival for Adobes Flash 8 no doubt. Buy it you will not regret it.
Cons: More in depth help files would be good, but a forum is available and whenever I needed assistance it came.
