KoolMoves sells itself on Flash animation, but there's more to it than that. The Flash-based design tool is the best we've seen, offering a nice mix of basic and advanced tools and options for a wide range of projects. The interface is well organized, hewing closely to Macromedia's style of graphical organization. The features are endless. You can draw an image, implement advanced object-manipulation by adding a skeleton to any created shape, and mix in MP3 or WAV audio with ease. Its other attractive features include masking, tweening, and support for Flash MX action scripting. Tutorials accompany you all the way through the program. The help file, although traditionally made, is outstanding. Just a quick glance at the text-effects menu will sell you on the software. The trial version spoils the joy by not letting you save the animations you produce, but that's more inducement to register immediately.Publisher's description

Version 5.4.3 has true 3D effects, a fix for the Internet Explorer "click to activate control" message, and other fixes.

- Added clipping of exported shapes to insure they are not too large for the Flash player.
- Changed maximum movie size to 2024 x 2024 in line with Flash.

"Great for beginners and professionals"
Pros: The software is great for creating quick flash effects that would take hours to create in Macromedia Flash. You can make some very decent stuff with this thing.
Cons: It isn't anywhere near as powerful as Flash. If you are looking to make some quick Flash effects with text, this software is great. However, if you are trying to create a Flash cartoon or game or an entire website in Flash, you probably want to buy Flash and learn it.

Pros: it seemed small and easy to learn, afterall...there wasn't much to it. however, they managed to mess it up and it is damn difficult to fathom. i'm not sure what it does. i gave up after 30 minutes--my standard time for testing CAD programs.
Cons: too many to mention but one stands out: incomprehensible.
