From SONOLUCA :Klangfarben is an audio-to-video animation toolbox with an easy-to-use GUI. Included is a modular toolbox with real-time filters, patterns, and audio sensitive trigger modules. Toolbox modules can be arranged in any possible order. You can combine up to 32 effects in a block, which can be saved (as your own effec)t to disk. Arrange your own compositions in set files with up to 1,000 effects. These sets can be automatically chased with a timer function.
You can compose your own filters, use external video-in source via Quicktime components, and use automatic beat-matching functonality. You can control Klangfarben with a keyboard, mouse, MIDI, touch screen, or remote control.
