This educational program is designed to familiarize kids with the kitchen, but several limitations hamper the demo version's effectiveness. Before going into the program's main interface, kids can decorate a gingerbread man, which will act as their guide in the kitchen area. The program's interface is designed like a common kitchen with a sink, waste can, and countertop complete with recipe books, coffee pot, mug, and a basket of fruits. The items on the interface represent each section of the program. There's a board nearby where kids can click a posted note to play two games, but only one is functional in the trial version. The recipe books lead you to a list of simple recipes; unfortunately only one is available in the trial version. The equipment, nutrition, health, and safety areas are clearly labeled as "Not Available in the Demo." Kids Kitchen also has some simple animations and a cheesy background sound, which could explain its large download size. Despite its stingy one-recipe/one-game trial limitation, some users may still find this application's registered version worth a try.Publisher's description
