Publisher's description
From Dominik Reichl :KeePass is a free password manager which helps you to manage your passwords in a secure way. You can put all your passwords in one database, which is locked with one master key or a key-disk. So you only have to remember one single master password or insert the key-disk to unlock the whole database. Databases are encrypted using very secure encryption algorithms (AES and Twofish).
Version 1.06 is a stable release. Additionally to the usual small feature additions and bugfixes, the password quality estimation algorithm and auto-type window focusing have been improved, automatic workspace locking has been enhanced.

Version: KeePass Password Safe 1.06
Pros: This program is OPEN SOURCE. This mean you can download the program source and see what's inside. Thousandths of programmers like me are downloading the source code of KeePass. Supose the authors decide to put something dangerous inside ... next day you will see warnings all over the net from people like me. This is a "feature" most other password managers does not have. Every publisher can decide to steal your data. Trust is all you have. But when you have source code availlable for free this is better than trust because programmers can see what's inside!
I never trust a password manager (commercial or not) if I don't have access to the program source code.
I am a programmer and after spending some hours browsing the source code I can tell you keePass version 1.09 and 2.03 Alpha is safe. The databases are encrypted using the best and most secure encryption algorithms currently known (AES, Rijndael and the Twofish ).
Your master password is hashed using SHA-256 algorithm and its output is used as key for the encryption algorithms. In contrast to many other hashing algorithms, no attacks are known yet against SHA-256.
KeePass is the first password manager that features security-enhanced password edit controls. None of the available password edit control spies work against these controls. The passwords entered in those controls aren't even visible in the process memory of KeePass.
Every bit of information from their website is true.
This is the best password manager in the world.
Cons: Nothing. This is the best password manager over here.

Version: KeePass Password Safe 1.06
"Excellent, safe password and information storage!!"
Pros: Safe and secure, the encryption is great and keeps your passwords secure. I find the program intuitive, easy to categorize, and, most of all, safe. Plus, there are Palm and Linux versions that can use the database files for maximum portability.
Cons: The plug-ins may be dangerous, so best not to use them. (the degree of separation between Keepass and whatever program you need the password for adds to the security as well.) Also, REMEMBER YOUR MASTER PASSWORD and backup your database often. You never know what may happen

Version: KeePass Password Safe 1.06
Pros: Organizes and saves passwords to an encrypted file.
Cons: You must install plugins to allow it to integrate (communicate) with Firefox and Internet Explorer. The plugin for Internet Explorer had problems setting it up and getting it to consistently communicate with KeePass. I never tried the Firefox extension. The KeePass plugins carry the following warning:
Warning: The plug-ins offered on this page are developed by different, independent authors. The KeePass team cannot check all plug-ins for bugs and/or malicious code and/or spyware before they are distributed here. Therefore, plug-ins need to be seen as possible security risk/hole and it's up to you if you trust the plug-ins developers or not.

Version: KeePass Password Safe 1.06
Pros: standalone version available (useful to use from your personal usb drive); easy to use; highly secured by master password and (optional) keyfile; open source (available for linux users too); auto compiler (types username and password in any fields automatically); many other useful frills.
Cons: should give easier way to detect relative paths for keyfiles.
