Protecting your computer from viruses is not something to take lightly, so we're glad to say Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Pro does a reasonable job of keeping your PC safe. We like this application's unique features that protect Microsoft Office applications, as well as the new utilities for safeguarding archived files.
The interface divides the app's functionality into three main areas: Protection, Settings, and Support. The Protection tab offers the meat of the features, with tools for scanning drives, downloading the latest virus definitions, quarantining offenders, archiving, and generating reports. The Settings tab supplies a number of options for configuring the level of protection, scheduling events, tailoring the interface, or adjusting the program's behavior to your liking. The Support tab also gives you some nice features, including a virus encyclopedia and an option for sending the app's developers a questionable file for analysis.
Recently, Kaspersky has been slightly outperformed in catching threats and we find the price to be a bit steep. All told, though, Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Pro's combination of tools and features make it an excellent choice for personal use.

"Good Suite,But Very Buggy!!!"
Pros: Excellent av,good firewall,very light on pc and its resources...
very good support and hourly updates...
Cons: anti-spam not upto proper standards...kaspersky seems to come-up with a problem every now and then with their updates or or with other component...
very very heavy with 70 dollars.....

Pros: Easy installation and ease of use are important and Kaspersky products do offer that. However, competent independent reviews ( not by some PC rag ) have shown for years that Kaspersky products are top notch. Their anti-virus package is second to none in detection of all types of malware while their firewall provides excellent protection for your PC. Although pricey, the products can be had for much cheaper if you know what to look for. Wal-Mart currently markets the Kaspersky package under the name "Defender Pro" which can be had for a fraction of the cost of purchasing Kaspersky products from their main web site.

"GOOD BUT There are better products"
Pros: IT has a good VIRUS,Trojan,worms etc..., and very good hourly update!!!!!!, blocks high rated adware and spyware!!!!!! very good to use.
Cons: well firstly the antispyware isnt good enough,i used the suite for about 1 week and then i scanned the system with spyware doctor, it detected 160 traces.but ofcourse all of them of very low risk. so not much of problems.
secondly the firewall needs to be improved,coz it should be kept at low security level, and above tat is the training mode, in which it even blocks yahoo messenger and asks me if i want to allow it, and it repeats this everytime some1 tries to give me a message or i give message to anyone, this is quite annyoing.
compared to this zone alarm pro(contains antispyware, firewall) is far better
but this has the best antivirus very much better than zonealarm AV, so if u want full protection, use kaspersky AV6.0 and zone alarm pro, its a good combination.

Pros: Like Bitdefender extremly good virusprotection
Cons: The firewall is not that good, Pentium 4HT did not like this software. Memorycrash your computer if you have P4HT.

"WOW! Best Internet Security Suite!"
Pros: Wow! I tested Over 20 firewalls and anti-viruses I must say this is the best Out there. The Anti-Virus Is the best! Kaspersky Anti-Virus Updates around 8 times a day! The firewall is great! In fact Its the only Firewall EVER To pass The Firewallleaktest In the world.
