Publisher's description of Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Linux File Servers
From Kaspersky Lab:Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Linux File Servers protects your data on your Unix or Linux File Servers from viruses and spyware. Our hourly updates and top detection rate lead the security industry. Kaspersky Business Optimal anti-malware solutions offer a unique, proprietary engine that provides the industry's only automated hourly updates directly from the Lab more than 600 per month.
Kaspersky updates are a fraction of the size of all other anti-virus solutions (~50 KB versus upwards of 12-15 MB), making it possible to receive regular updates with little or no degradation to workstation or network performance. Flexible administrative options allow security administrators full control over both the timing and distribution methods used for these updates.

Version: Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Linux File Servers 5
Cons: i'd give this software a 0 star rating, but at least one star is required. i can understand why a Windblows user needs an antivirus. it's the most used computer platform on the planet, very insecure and software comes from multiple places, but as a Linux user i know where all my software comes from and i can examine the source code to be sure that it's malware free unlike the proprietary counterpart, so why should i install a program on my system that does nothing for me except use up system resources? the only purpose i'd have for an antivirus is to be sure that i don't pass a virus to a Windows user, but it's not my job to ensure their computer is virus free, that's their job. so to a Linux user this software is useless
