KIS slowed down my PC. Scan took too much time. KIS took 4 hours to scan my HDD while Avast and Norton only took 1 hour and 30 minutes to do so.

Cool graphics but totally crashed my computer it took my 20 min to start up but when i was finally able to use it safari 15 min to load youtube and then i had no audio play back on anything on my computer...DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

My friend told me about Kaspersky Internet Security. I just had to a complete Recovery on my PC. I had not even a clue what to do to protect my Windows 7 Premium. Norton showed up, and I used the 30 day trial. My friend highly recommended this and told me Norton would end up making some serious problems in my PC. I like what I read and all the reviews, wish I had 2 friends to take the price down! I am going to sign-up for the trial for right now... i am interested in this!!

People wrote some real bad reviews. I don't like slow responses! Waiting, is not my style, But if the results are good, then I have to wait. I don't like the few hours available for all of us in the west, that want to speak to a support person...very limited

Great detection but when I was testing it on small malware it did its weird "Advance disinfection technology" But in the process totally killed my PC! Had to restore.
Though the SAFE RUN is exellent!!!!
I'm still staying with ESETCons

I'm not familiar enough with how security software works, but I do know that KIS caught a trojan that's been on my system for several months of McAfee. It's easy to use and I don't feel as if I'm doing something dangerous and potentially breaking the system and losing everything when I tweak the whatnots in the settings menu. It's not in friendly language (I had to look up heuristics, as usual), but it's not in computer tech-ese, either.
Cons
Everything slowed down. Waaaay down. I live in the sticks with a DSL line so it's slow enough already. Once I put KIS on my two laptops (Windows 7), I went from a bit laggy to dialup was faster. Since I internet-commute, lack of speed is a deal breaker. I will not puchase software from this vendor again.
Summary
Understandable security, but it hobbles the internet speed.
