Version: KSP Bundle 2006R3
"Too buggy to use successfully"
Pros: Excellent sound - uses the BASS engine that powers the XMPlay, AIMP Classic and Xion players.
Cons: The whole application centres around the library, rather like MediaMonkey, and it is this that is so unpredictable and badly bugged that it is impossible to use. The one thing it does do reasonably well is display advertisements, which is surely unacceptable considering the stellar free (and ad-free) competition from Winamp, XMPlay, Quintessential, even WMP. Tracks are listed that won't play, and perfectly good tracks with tags that read just fine in the apps I just mentioned, are invisible. Playlists re-order themselves for no apparent reason, and playback stalls at certain tracks that otherwise appear quite normal, and which cause no problems in other players. There may be more, but I gave up and uninstalled the thing at that point.
