"Test of K-lite codec pack and FFDshow/Divx video codec"
Pros: What need to upgrade, you can try quicker codecs, have tested some quick and easy to install codecs from: video-codec-pack.com, there is all codecs and all is up to date. Not like on some resources, 4.8.5 but newest version is 4.9 try turn you headd
Cons: That all in one pack, it is the same minus and plus, sometimes no need to install all video and audio codecs, so this pack can pump your register and make your windows vista slowly, but you can try just video codecs such FFDshow and Divx.
Summary: So try to check web for up-to-dated version of such popular codec because new version it is not bad version, usually this improve productivity and guality.

Pros: I use only the Mega Codec Pack
