Version: IsoBuster 2.2
"When all hope is lost Send for Iso Buster and get a friend for life"
Pros: What a
> brilliant programme!
>
> A few years back I lost all photographs
of my sons degree graduation ceremony
> which had been copied to a CDR.
>
> No-one could help. I trawled various shops and local computer businesses
> but everyone said the disc was empty. Having previously gained an HNC in
> computer studies I knew that this could not be true and the pictures must
> be there somewhere.
>
> Various knowlegable contacts were recruited to help.
>
> A friend with an HND in computer studies concluded the disc was empty after trying for weeks to recover photos.
>
> A Professor of Computer Studies returned the same verdict. "Nothing on the disc"
All hope of retrieving my precious pictures seemed to have evaporated
>
> I then read a \"small piece\" in a photographic magazine mentioning ISO
> Buster, a programme I had never heard of.
>
> I found the site and downloaded the free version and ran it.
>
> Amazingly all my pictures reappeared as if by magic. I quickly registered
> the programme and retrieved my valuable pictures. Every one of them.
>
> What a brilliant programme! Worth every penny of the registration fee.
> I also like the personal \"down to earth\" touch that the writer of the programme puts into its instructions and help files and to the management of the software. Something that is sadly missing nowadays by so many large computer software companies.
>To a lot of people the interface may appear a little daunting at first because of the many options available. The only command that the novice really needs to remember is EXTRACT. Iso Buster does most of the rest for you!.
An abolutely amazing piece of software and as the old saying goes "it does what it says on the tin".

"Saved me when I was in a pickle."
Pros: I have all my programs and casual games backed up onto a disc. I went to use it today &windows vista could only recognize it as a blank disc for some reason!
Everything had been deleted.
Anyway this program managed to find all the programs and games on the disc & saved me weeks and headaches of having to download them all again! It was well worth the $$$
Cons: Nothing to dislike as it only took me a few seconds to find everything that had been deleted and extract them onto my hard-drive. Now I make sure to back everything up onto my hard drive too and not rely on bloody discs.

"Recovered CD files when other software didn't"
Pros: I had kept my precious photos on CDs in my fire-proof safe. Unfortunately, for one set of photos, I hadn't kept backups anywhere else. When I went to open that CD, Windows said nothing was on the CD! I considered data recovery services, but thought I'd try some offerings on download.com first. The first half-dozen or so packages I tried also said nothing was on the CD (was I dreaming about those photos?). Finally tried ISO Buster -- voila, there were my photos, easy as anything! This software definitely did what I needed. I gladly bought a license!

"Excellent piece of software - has saved the day three times for me already."
Pros: I downloaded and registered this software to try to recover a lot of photo files from a defective DVD. It worked quickly and easily (without reading a lot of instructions) and was 100% successful. I've since recovered an additional DVD of photos and data for myself plus I recovered the data from a CD for a friend who had five years of wine label designs on it and feared that he had lost all of that work. I was able to quickly recover those files for him. He has won several awards for his winemaking and has offered me a few bottles for my "payment" for recovering his data. THANKS ISOBUSTER!!
Cons: Haven't found any problems with the software so far.

Version: IsoBuster 2.2
Pros: I ran into a problem with a disc. I made a backup to CD, then re-installed my OS. After everything was installed I wanted to put back my pictures and some Word documents. However Windows found nothing on the disc !! After a search and trying one or two freeware apps that didn't find anything I found IsoBuster. So glad that I did !! IsoBuster recovered everything in a matter of minutes.
This is a keeper.
