Pros: ItÃ?s easy,quick and very useful! I was looking for these kind of program in Cnet forums and IÃ?m very pleased to find it!IÃ?ve already tried it in a CD and a DVD and it worked awesome!Thanks a lot!

"Useful product - recommended."
Pros: I found this product to be very easy to use, but also very powerful. Damaged or incomplete CDs or DVDs may look blank to Windows Explorer, but IsoBuster will let you see what's there! IsoBuster is also useful if you want to look at earlier sessions of a multisession disc.
Cons: On Windows 2000 and XP you have to take extra steps to enable unprivileged users
to use IsoBuster. Installing ASPI version 4.6 (using ForceASPI) seems to be the best
solution.

"Great software for extracting raw data out of a cd"
Pros: Lets you extract raw data.
Lets you open .bin files without writing them to a cd. You dont even need the .cue file

"Worked great, recovered 3 years of work"
Pros: Simply works, and good too, and for that price !!
Stupid me ... I put three years of writing and collecting data for a book onto a CD and didn't even bother to check it aftwards, I was so sure it was OK as I never had issues before. Next I installed my system from scratch again. I recovered from a worm but you know ... I wasn't feeling very "safe" afterwards so I decided to re-install, I had been a while anyway.
When I popped in my data CD to put my work back on the PC .. all was gone. Windows didn't see it anymore. It saw the directory, but no content (files).
Thank God for this software ! IsoBuster DID see the data and allowed me to recover the data.
Cons: What looked to be a con, appeared to be a drive issue in the end, I looked it up in the help file (which is very clear about it).
Drives sometimes need "some" time to read over a bad sector, so when there are more bad sectors you can get into a waiting mode for a while. Luckily my precious data was not affected and in the end I don't mind having had to wait an hour longer than I expected.

"What the hell is this program good for?"
Cons: I downloaded this program under the guise that it was a DVD DATA RECOVERY tool, but it's far from it. I tried to restore the bad files and the program immediately returns an error that it can't read the disc. What a complete waste of time!
