This simple privacy application can take care of system cleanup basics, but only works with Internet Explorer. Internet Trace Destroyer's interface is a bit dull, but its simple tree list makes it easy to select which areas to clean.
You can create multiple cleaning tasks and a basic scheduler is available for regular cleanups. Like most applications, it washes away traces in numerous Windows system areas including the Recent Documents list, temporary files, and the Start menu history. Unlike with other privacy applications, no file-shredding tool is offered. Internet Trace Destroyer works well, but it doesn't support other popular browsers like Firefox or Opera, and only works with IE.
It also supports only a short list of third-party applications. Novice users may appreciate this application's simplicity, but advanced users will probably want a wider range of features and support for other browsers.
