Lock your PC, and turn it into an Internet kiosk, a child-friendly system, or something in between. Internet Kiosk Pro's interface is a split between a configuration dialog and the operating screen. The Help documentation isn't extensive, but should get most users up and running in a few minutes. While the novice will have no trouble with this simple program, there are still some options for the advanced user.
Internet Kiosk Pro must be configured before first use. The process is primarily setting passwords and choosing which options to allow on system start. Almost everything is controlled through check box enabling and filling out simple text boxes. The heart of any kiosk application is what it locks down. This program makes it a breeze to disable many common keys and key combinations that are used to bypass kiosks. You can easily set up allowed users and accounts. Programs can be set to open on system start or allowed through a pop-up menu. It takes little trouble to set the system to use a simplified browser to block or allow select URLs. There is no easy method to allow sites to open new windows, however, which prevents some sites from working correctly.
Internet Kiosk Pro's easy configurability makes it a useful program for anyone wanting to limit PC access. We recommend it for any user level.

Version: Internet Kiosk Pro 6.12
Pros: This program almost locked me out of my computer and potentially could have cost me about 2 days doing a windows reinstall because of features that were not well thought through.
Cons: After installing this program I turned on the key locking feature. Then after uninstalling the program I was unable to get my ctrl or enter keys to work again. I eventually had to do a system restore. UGH!
Summary: So frustrating! They should always have an escape mode for this software (even in the login screen).
