Publisher's description

From MAEGNAS Software :

Intelligent Mailbook is a professional, project-based e-mail program for small business and home office use. Intelligent Mailbook stores messages and message receipts in a new intuitive way, and uses an 'Archive' for easy back-up and restore of messages. Intelligent Mailbook is 100% compatible with all e-mail messages composed and sent by other programs. You can import and export '.eml' e-mail files from and to other e-mail programs. Intelligent Mailbook has powerful automatic Tracking number ('support ticket') generation and processing - ideal for help desks and service departments!

Intelligent Mailbook has a Black List mechanism to block mail from specific senders. Messages from blacklisted addresses will be deleted at server level and NOT be downloaded. Great for blocking SPAM (unwanted mail) from known spammers. Intelligent Mailbook has Auto-rebuild of damaged databases: never loose mail messages because of one damaged system file!

by Durer on April 19, 2007

    Pros: nothing

    "Just a goad"

by mionickname on June 25, 2006

Pros: It appearently works.Though it looks like an adware to me, major protection softwares don't detect any malware in it.

Cons: It's not really free! This version is vitiated by numerous unwanted popup windows inviting you to buy the pro version! These windows make it nearly impossible to use the software peacefully!

Stalking the user it's not a crafty way to push it to pay.MAEGNAS Software, have you ever heard about old honest trial versions?

    "Outdated Crapware"

by cybergaar on September 21, 2007

Cons: Software is outdated. Publishers website no longer exist. Interface resembles something from DOS or Win95. "Does Not Function" Nag screens are so intrusive, it's hard to setup, and even more difficult to exit. I gave it a good faith effort. This one gets a rotten rating from me.

    "DISAPPOINTING"

by TigrrrTamer on May 17, 2006

Pros: I downloaded this for our small business (20 employees). We are very project oriented, and needed a solution that does not freeze as outlook does when the database is too full. Ours fill up fast. And the sorting by project sounded very promising for us.

Cons: NO message preview pane as in other email programs (I miss that a lot!).

Does _NOT_ display html (I sent a message to myself from outlook, with fonts, and an image for stationary, and it displayed neither). It displays everything in plain text - click the plain text button and it's arial 10 pt., click html button and it's all times 10pt., but no formatting or images (such as stationary).

The interface is UGLY - the buttons and color schemes must have been designed by a blind accountant.

Sometimes the program worked for a day, then did no longer and I had to disinstall and reinstall, but that last comment may be related to my setup and the fact I still had outlook on my PC.

If you are attracted by it's project oriented approach, it is probably because you have sophisticated needs and expectations, and this program is neither complete enough or stable enough to satisfy either.
