Instant messagers have long been one of the Net's true killer applications. Integrity Messenger allows users to integrate separate chat accounts, supporting access to the ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, and AOL networks. That means that users can use the same interface to reach virtually all their contacts, instead of having to use separate programs for each separate service. We liked Integrity's ability to send a message to several contacts at once, as well as the ability to save settings online, so they can follow the user to a different machine. The interface is elegantly designed, with a tab system allowing several conversations to be held in the same window. The program also includes support for voice chatting, IRC, and checking Web-based e-mail. Some of the features can be buggy; the file transfer failed in our tests, for example. We also would like to see the program use less system memory. However, Integrity Messenger certainly has the power to make life easier for computer users who routinely use multiple chat services.Publisher's description

Version: Integrity Messenger 4.11
"Started out great then went downhill from there..."
Pros: As a user of Integrity Messenger, I have been with them since version 1.0. It started out as a wonderful piece of software and could have easily contended with the likes of Trillian and other similar pieces of software.
Cons: Around December of 2004, the developers all but disappeared from their forums. Support requests went unanswered, bugs were never fixed, no updates have been out since the release of 4.11. They took their forums down recently and are not answering emails. The past few days, the service has been slow and users have been unable to connect. I defenitely give this one a "thumbs down".

Version: Integrity Messenger 4.11
"Amari kekkoo ja arimasen. :("
Pros: Pros... Well, it was alright, I guess. I had been using the program for a while, with no problems whatsoever. It was versatile, and all the basic functions were easy to use, but...
Cons: ...As of late, I have been experiencing MANY problems. For one, I mainly use the program to talk to my friends on AIM, because AIM uses too many windows, when talking to friends. Recently though, when I try and chat with my friends on AIM, I can send them messages, but no messages come back to me at all. It BLOWS no being able to see what your friends are saying to you at all. Another problem. No matter what I did, I could NOT sign on to MSN with Integrity Messenger. And I have many friends on MSN as well. How great could Integrity Messenger be with so many damned problems? Another thing. I tried the Error Reporting system (or whatever it's called) to send the problem to someone who had the potential to help me. I don't even know if the report even got there. I sure as hell haven't received my halp, yet, so I'm assuming it hasn't. Overall, Integrity Messenger is a terrible product. Maybe if all these bugs were fixed, then we'd see a lot more good reviews.
