From Emilio Guijarro :Infoscape is a RSS news aggregator which brings to your desktop as many channels as you want, and provides their contents directly as a popup floating window without boring menus or listings. Infoscape allows you to get instant notifications on your email accounts, weather conditions, news channels. RSS 0.9x, 1.0, 2.0 and AtomFeed 0.3 are supported. Version 1.31 has bugfix: application crash when channel not reachable.

Version: Infoscape 1.31
Pros: this program is staightforward....headline reader and thats it, but looks very stylish and low on system resources.
Cons: only use one channel if you dont want it popping up all the time....also no help file and i didnt see help at the site. and one cant click on the headlines to read more. this is stricly for headlines and thats it...i have yet to figure out how to check my mail with it
