InfoLock Personal is much more than a password manager. It provides extra features designed to keep your private data secure, your data can be fully formatted just like a word document and has a file vault for encrypting any sensative files, not just text usernames and passwords. There are no robots automatically remembering your passwords. You are in complete control. InfoLock Personal also has advanced services which allow use a WAP enabled phone, any Windows Mobile Compatable Device or even the internet to access your data. It allows you to group all those hard to remember passwords and your private data in one place, this gives you complete freedom to view your infomation at any time, and access them anywhere.

- Version reviewed: Infolock Personal 4.2.5
Infolock Personal claims to be both a password manager and a file-encryption program. It may be both, but our testers never got a chance to see the program in action.
Some testers hit a snag as soon as the program was installed. Trying to open the program caused an error message to appear and the program never opened. Others got further along, but not by much. These testers found that Infolock requires you to create a user name and password, and choose a security question and answer. But that's as far as the testing could go. The only option was to click the Next button, but an error message popped up each time. Although the message said to click to bypass the error and proceed, Infolock Personal never moved on to the next step. Re-installing the program didn't solve the problems.
Infolock Personal comes with a 20-day trial period, which is probably 19 days longer than most will keep this dud. There are plenty of fully functional and free password manager/encryption programs out there. We recommend you look for one of those.
