With its straightforward interface and whimsical attitude, IncrediMail appeals to the casual e-mailer, but actually offers enough features--like Exchange server support--to be functional for more serious endeavors. You can personalize your messages with background stationery from a variety of categories, including animals, art, technology, and moods. The program installs with about 50 backgrounds, most with a cartoony feel, and you can download more online or create your own with Letter Creator (a 10-use trial comes with this download). It supports recorded voice attachments, and the premium version supports skins.
There are a few drawbacks. The overall interface lacks pizazz and looks like it was last overhauled back when emoticons were new. There's a questionnaire that must be filled out when installing the program, annoying even at three questions long. More significantly, IncrediMail turns into quite the resource pig when playing around with graphics-heavy backgrounds.
The features are solid, though. The program offers basic e-mail client functions, including sending, receiving, and organizing messages; managing your address book; and creating rules for how to handle certain messages. Among its other included features are an integrated JunkFilter that lets you assign permission for senders or domains, IMAP support via a POP3 emulator, and Message Rules functions that work in concert with JunkFilter. IncrediMail makes standard e-mail a bit more fun for home users, especially for kids and kids at heart.

"Read and Understand before downloading"
Pros: Nothing for me
Cons: Plan on paying for the good animation, free stuff was pretty boring to me.
Summary: I wish I would have read more, I was looking for a way to create e-cards for birthdays and special occasions when I came across this I thought it would be perfect, in the end I messed up and the next thing I knew all my emails were going to this in... read more >>

"Why to avoid upgrading to Incredimail 2"
Pros: Incredimail is slick, looks great, the interface is modern and menu items shuffled around somewhat. The whole new Incredimail is great except for one glaring blunder.
Cons: For some unkown reason the Incredimail people decided to automate entries into the address book. There is no way to turn it off. This means every email sender's address is entered into the address book and has to be manually removed.
Summary: The address book blunder has ramifications that could see anti virus companies consider it a threat.
Consider this. A spammer sends you an email. His/her address ends up in your address book. You recieve 50 emails from various sources and ever... read more >> -

"Nice Bells and Whistles. Zero customer assistance."
Pros: I like the different email backgounds, animations and sounds it offers. I also really like the notifiers.
Cons: I have it on my desk top and when I incorporated my email into it, it showed over 4000,00 emails (all old) it would not accept anymore emails. It keeps saying invalid account verification and other notices. Would LOVE to use it, but I can't.
Summary: Bottom line, if there were "real" customer assistance this problem would have been solved 7 months ago when it began. Insteadfor 7 months I have sent emails fro my laptop wishing it could have been a more colorful incredimal email. It is soo hopeles... read more >>

"Was fun to play with the different applications"
Pros: It was cool to see what type of animated emails you could send to most web browsers. Had a nice cartoon and glittery type of characters
Cons: If you had no problems with the program you were lucky, but soon problems begin and the support they claim to have was a JOKE! they did not even respond. removed the program and one day found a phone number to the sales dept & gave a canned response.
Summary: The lack of support is pathetic. The cool features was just that just icing. It showed a lot of promise. I found the phone number to their office this took a lot of work (I really wanted to use this program) for my business. The young lady stated t... read more >>
