Summary
I tried using this app behind a firewall and observed that Skype, AOL, Jabber, and other accounts wouldn't authenticate unless I allowed access to the imo.im servers -- strange behavior for an IM client. Their onscreen messages specifically say that these passwords are stored on the device, not external servers. So I read imo's privacy statement, which states explicitly that imo.im may store your Skype and other passwords on their servers!
"We receive and store any information you enter while you access or use the Service ... may include, but is not limited to: ... username, or password"
Concerned, I wrote to imo 's privacy email three times over a week and asked if they stored my usernames and passwords on their servers. I never received a response.
This was reason enough for concern, so I completely deleted imo and reset all my account passwords I entered into the imo app. There are serious security concerns about any app that collects and stores your username and password on its own servers. -

Pros
I can use Yahoo messenger on my iphone, but IMO and eBuddy can use multiple Chat accounts eg MSN, Facebook chat, Skype chat, AIM, ICQ and more.

BUT Yahoo messenger doesnt work
In IMO I get;
Login failed! Account locked: Too many failed login attempts. Logging into the Yahoo website may fix this.
Well, logging into the website doesnt fix the problem
Any ideas why?

This messenger like all the other multi-network messengers would not run when I clicked it and I could not even open the program. I do not have this problem with one network messengers like Google Talk,aim messenger or windows live,which i do not like. But at least Windows Live works,Imo,this messenger like all the other mult-network messengers, does not work.
