IQ Browser is a sleek and attractive Web browser, but it's more than just a pretty face. With quick page loads and some pretty cool features, IQ Browser is a nice alternative to the mainstream browsers.
IQ Browser is organized in an intuitive way that's quite similar to other popular tabbed browsers, with a well-designed, easy-to-navigate interface that's also quite nice to look at. The default skin is a dark gray, but you can customize the program's look by choosing from many other skins. Although it lacks the add-on capabilities of big browsers such as Firefox, it does have several excellent features, such as enabling you to create an IQ Browser account so that you can store your bookmarks remotely and access them from anywhere. We also found that pages load lightning quick in IQ Browser; it's among the fastest browsers we've used, in fact. Where IQ Browser falls short is with its ad-blocking feature. Although the pop-up blocker works fine, the content filter doesn't make much sense. The program doesn't seem to have an English language Help file, either, which certainly complicates things and limits its appeal. But for the most part, IQ Browser is enjoyable and as easy to use as any other browser. It may not have all the capabilities of the big-package browsers, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, and IQ Browser's speed makes up for any shortcomings.
IQ Browser is free. It installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users.

Unknown, raised too many suspicious alerts in PC Tools Threat File to wish to proceed--as highly dangeous, repeatedly, after clicking allow each time.
Cons
As above. Threatfire is usually quite silent during installations for me. Based in Santa Clara, CA but programmed in kanji.

Fast, Small, Does'nt take too much RAM. Perfect replacement for Internet Explorer if you want one.

But the problem I have is it is not in English. But I am willing to look past this problem since it isn't tooo big of a problem.
Summary
Love thefact alot of work went into this but for now I will uninstall it and if improvements are made I might come back to it :)

Pages load super fast; nice selection of skins to choose from. Has its own home page and you're able to sign up for an account (for enhanced privacy protection).
Cons
When using the back key while typing, it's a bit slow.
Summary
I've used plenty of other browsers and this one (so far) is the fastest. Way to go! : )

Pros
Using IE as a base, IQ makes IE better. toolbar is cleaner, options are easier to find, customizing is simple, small memory footprint, very crisp screen design and it is FAST. Although a new browser with few options so far, it has great potential.
Cons
The only 'flaw' is that it is new, a work in progress. Some features are in development and not there. The developers' native language is not English so there are some minor grammatical errors, but that is also a charm of the product.
Summary
In a world where people think their only choices are IE, Firefox, Opera or Safari, it is refreshing to see a new browser with so many features and so fresh and clean. For the potential alone, I would have given 5 stars. I gave 4 stars because of the quality of execution and the excellence of what is there today. For example, the tabbled browsing is more intuitive than other browsers, the toolbar is elegant simplicity with no unnecessary frills. and the speed has to be experienced to understand just what a great product this is.
This is also a 'labor of love' by a group of enthusiastic young developers and it is difficult to not be caught up in their enthusiasm. For many years I've felt that "browsers are browsers", but this one caused me to rethink browsers. Since the mid 90's, I gone from Mosaic to Netscape to IE to Opera to Firefox to Safari and now to IQ.... and IQ has excitement and potential that I never felt with other browsers. The big challenge for IQ is to make more people aware of it. I'm just glad that I discovered it.
