This spy tool monitors instant messengers conversations on Yahoo Messenger, but some aspects failed to work in our assessments. IMMonitor Yahoo Messenger Spy's practical interface scans your entire network to locate all connected PCs in order to record IM conversations. To monitor an IP address, simply choose it from the list provided, and you're ready to go. Options are given to save logs and to have them automatically sent to your e-mail for remote monitoring. During the trial, the program successfully recorded the first seven messages of a conversation from our PC to another, although it fails to monitor other computers in the network. The block function to control conversations didn't work during our assessments either. IMMonitor Yahoo Messenger Spy doesn't operate in stealth so users can easily tell they're being monitored. The 10-day trial period is scant, and with the plethora of IM spy tools out there, you'll want to download a stouter program.
