This spy tool monitors instant messenger conversations on MSN Messenger, but several pertinent features failed in our tests.

IMMonitor MSN Spy's utilitarian interface scans your entire network, locating all connected PCs. To record MSN conversations, simply choose the IP you'd like to monitor from the list provided, and you're ready to go. Options to save logs and have them automatically sent to your e-mail account are given.

During testing, the program successfully recorded the first seven messages of a conversation from the setup PC to another, but failed to monitor other computers in the network. The block function to control conversations didn't work during our assessments, either. IMMonitor MSN Spy isn't stealth, so users can easily tell they're being monitored. The 10-day trial period is scant, and with the plethora of IM spy tools out there, it isn't difficult to locate a more competent application.
