Publisher's Description
From Red Egg Software:
IESpell is a free Internet Explorer browser extension that spell-checks text-input boxes on a Web page. It should come in particularly handy for users who do a lot of Web-based text entry (Web mail, forums, blogs, diaries). Even if your Web application already includes spell-checking functionality, this utility is faster than a server-side solution. Plus, you get to store and use your personal word list across all your applications instead of having to maintain separate ones on each application.
The program installs as a new button in the IE toolbar (and as a new menu item under Tools). After filling in a form, click the IESpell button and it pops up a dialog similar to the Microsoft Word spelling checker.
In version 2.1.1 build 325, ShowModalDialog can take any HTML elements, and support for ignoring words marked with an underscore has been added.

"very useful"
Version: IESpell 2.6.4 build 573
Pros
great for checking spelling on blogs or forums
Cons
would be good if checked spelling as typed rather than only when click spell check button
-
"It can't spell"
Version: IESpell 2.6.4 build 573
Pros
None, the dictionary used is not proper English,
Cons
It can't differentiate between two words with the same meaning, and it also needs to use a proper Oxford dictionary
Summary
Mine has started to add together the word to be corrected with the last word behind it, and add the last two letters of the word word behind to the end of the word to be corrected after the correction.
very poor !!! -

-
"Good easy to use spell checker."
Version: IESpell 2.6.4 build 573
Pros
Takes up very little memory, and uses no space on your IE tool-bar
Cons
For some reason on Facebook it wants to run through all the spell checks TWICE, then goes and RE-spell checks your previous Posts that you have done and are still on your current page, yet you have ALREADY spell checked them AND ALREADY posted them, then it defaults to the top of the page and you must browse back down the page just to actually find your post and hit Enter, just to post your latest posting.

Perfect, and works in almost every application.

"Great Program"
Version: IESpell 2.6.4 build 573
Pros
There are lots of words available in it's "vocabulary."
Cons
The only thing I wish the program would offer is the option to keep it on full time or not.
Summary
Even the most maticulous speller makes mistakes, especially when tired and/or distracted.

"It's a decent Add-On"
Version: IESpell 2.6.4 build 573
Pros
Does what it says. Spell checks everything that's been typed into forms. Great. Love it.
Cons
It doesn't really replace the whole misspelling. Just the beginning and doesn't keep the spaces between words.
Summary
It's a great add-on for those who make spelling mistakes. There are a couple tweaks that would benefit the typer, such as the words don't fully get replaced and the spaces between words get deleted. So, I have to constantly go back and add spaces and remove the remaining letters that the spell checker doesn't remove. Still, all-in-all, it's a great add-on and I'll continue using it, I just hope they fix the minor errors.
