IE7 Pro adds a lot of showmanship to the Internet Explorer browser. The freeware add-on has some smart solutions for tabbing, including default settings to open URLs in new tabs and let double-clicking close a tab down.
Here's another pleasant surprise: "dragging" and "dropping" an in-text link into white space opens the link in a new tabs without any mouse work. IE7Pro also borrows from several software concepts to help raise IE7's appeal, including Firefox's, to save and fill forms, and insert user scripts a la Greasemonkey. The MiniDM download manager adds a long-missing tool to IE's options, and the pre-fetching options makes IE much lighter on its feet.
The list of added features is long, but they're all accessible from a status bar icon that the program installs for you. Right-click on it to get access to mouse gestures, customizable hotkeys, and more. Highly recommended.

"adblock lacks context menu. NOT ready for IE8"
Pros: * still freeware
Cons: * not IE8 ready
* NO context menu for adblock component
* limited userscript support
* lacking CSS
* element blocking limitation
* cannot import adblock plus blocklists / whitelists
* update cycle radically slowing over time
* become bloatwareSummary: Time to catch up IEpro... IE8 is out of beta
I'll be waiting for an update to AdBrick.. and AdBlock-IE to release without dot NET dependencies.. and an AdBlockPro update for 2009

Version: IE7Pro 2.4.5
Pros: Just finished successfully installing IE7 Pro in IE8 (running under Windows 7 RC), and it's made the transition a lot easier. I can find everything I need, and MiniDM (my favorite feature) works brilliantly!
Cons: Many features you may not need or want are switched on as default.
Summary: You may need to take a few mins to set it up the way you'd prefer, but that should be done for anything like this if you want to get the best out of it.
So, feel free to upgrade to IE8 knowing that you can still install IE7 Pro. -

Pros: Just installed and haven't really tinkered but what I have done has impressed me.
Cons: Unlike opera (quick access) once you click-on then you have to manually click the appearing tab to actually access it.. I also have an IE7prosetup_2.4.5_5_ADDON File
that I can't open or determine just what it is (can anyone help?)Summary: Nothing that opera doesn't have but I was thoroughly surprised (and delighted) that windows actually came up with it.. "My favorite favorite... which is dead now."
Pros: It is established beyond all doubt that Internet Explorer 7 will be a far better application for consumers with this program.
Cons: Practically does not work with Internet Explorer 8. While Internet Explorer 8 now offers part of its functionalities, the other part is now broken and does not work under Internet Explorer 8.
