IE7 Pro adds a lot of showmanship to the Internet Explorer browser. The freeware add-on has some smart solutions for tabbing, including default settings to open URLs in new tabs and let double-clicking close a tab down.
Here's another pleasant surprise: "dragging" and "dropping" an in-text link into white space opens the link in a new tabs without any mouse work. IE7Pro also borrows from several software concepts to help raise IE7's appeal, including Firefox's, to save and fill forms, and insert user scripts a la Greasemonkey. The MiniDM download manager adds a long-missing tool to IE's options, and the pre-fetching options makes IE much lighter on its feet.
The list of added features is long, but they're all accessible from a status bar icon that the program installs for you. Right-click on it to get access to mouse gestures, customizable hotkeys, and more. Highly recommended.

Summary
Highly recommend this product. I believe my one line summary, pros said it all except there really isn't anything you have to do, they do it for you. If an ad does come up, and they might, just right click and say filter! Ad free gaming is a big plus.

Pros
Tabs added, more versatile than 6. Protocol makes it the leading browser in market share. Opens pages others don't because it is the leader and programmers code for the software.
Cons
Too many features opens security holes which always have to to be plugged by updates and patches, always trying to code others out of the market.
Summary
MS needs to play on a level field so that others can fit in. A competitive market opens the market for new ideas which for a long time kept MS both flat and the users with no new features. Only when Mozilla started competing and giving users a fresh new platform did MS start offering what others had already pioneered, but security still isn't a prime goal at MS. Opera is built on an IE7 like engine protocol offering a new and fresh face with fewer features making fewer security holes and add-ons can add extra features if they are important to you, a procedure also used by Mozilla. Now we have a choice. That lead to IE7s improvement making a better product.

My favorite site started having intrusive ads for some reason, and I found IE7Pro - which completely solved that problem without my having to change browsers.
Cons
No real problem, but I do notice a small delay when accessing a "new" site, which then comes up sans ads.
Summary
A great add-in for IE7.
One thing I forgot to mention is that the original DL defaulted to use MiniDM, a download manager that automatically "catches" all your DLs. You then have to drag and drop them to the actual place you want them to be. That was a pain until I read somewhere you could set the preferences (under Tools on your browser) and deselect this.
