IE7 Pro adds a lot of showmanship to the Internet Explorer browser. The freeware add-on has some smart solutions for tabbing, including default settings to open URLs in new tabs and let double-clicking close a tab down. Here's another pleasant surprise: "dragging" and "dropping" an in-text link into white space opens the link in a new tabs without any mouse work. Sort of like waxing your snow board. It works a bit better and maybe a tad faster, but it remains the same board. Like so many I was frustrated with all the constant annoyances of IE7. I read all the reviews for Pro and Fox Fire on Cnet and decided to try IE 7 Pro and compare to Fox Fire. No doubt it is a bit faster than Fox Fire. My sole reason for downloading IE7 was to hopefully find a systems that would work without reoccurring annoyance and frustrations.
Cons
Side by side comparison did not feel IE7 Prowas near as good as Fox Fire. Like one evaluator stated, after downloading IE7 Pro , got the dreaded blank screen. Computer would not boot, do nothing. Thankfully after turning it off manually and restarting it went into the emergency boot mode, allowing me a selection of start up. First time this ever happened. Have to concluded it was IE7 Pro.
I will go back to Fox Fire for now. One problem is we are like kids in a candy shop for the first time with all these plug-ins available. Too soon you find they are not all useful or tasty. The fewer we can do without the better our browsers seem to work. But, gotta say I love the tab system in Fox Fire and the compact tool bar options. Overall I say that Fox Fire is more user friendly with their browser options and plug-ins. I do not miss the pop-ups " We are sorry IE has encountered a problem and must close down, sorry for inconvenience." or many of the other we are all familiar with. Out Look Express often was on a break or out to lunch when you wanted to check you mail. Yet to find that problem in Thunder Bird, Fox Fire E-mail version. I'm still tuning Fox Fire.

This add-on to IE7 works very well. Not slow, as I notice some people claim it is. It's very simple, everything about it is useful. It blocks ads, mouse gestures, and have various plugins that are still not as good as Firefox extensions, but are getting there.
Cons
Unforunately, even though it's an add-on to IE7, it still installs as a separate program. Also, it's people claim it to be a bad attempt to regain IE7's popularity, however I am glad developers decided to do something to help IE7! It would be nice if it had a download manager similiar to Firefox's and more useful plugins.
