IE Tab is a Web developer's dream, and it's a must-have for Firefox users who are sick of firing up Internet Explorer to view IE-only Web sites. Version 1.2 introduced an even-easier-to-use interface. The old methods still work, as in right-clicking a link to access the View in IE Tab option, or pasting the link directly into the interface options.
Now, IE Tab installs a Firefox logo on the browser's bottom taskbar. Left-clicking it re-opens the current page in IE. Middle-clicking opens the current page in a new tab with the IE engine. Right-clicking shows the site's filter, which allows you to always open listed sites in an IE tab. The new functions make switching among IE tabs and Firefox painless and smooth, even if the Options menu takes a bit to get used to. Most importantly, it minimizes the amount of time needed to switch between Firefox and IE, a feature all Firefox users can appreciate.Publisher's description

"This is a good Add-in for Mozilla Firefox 3.0"
Pros: When this little Add-in contributes with some Internet Explorer help, so I can only recommend other user to have this installed after the download procedure is clear and are very fast when this is not a big Add-in in size.

Pros: I thought i had an earlier version, but...
Cons: it has an .xpi extension - what the heck do I with that? Why aren't there any install instructions with this? Firefox couldn't even download it, I had to use IE7. Very confusing.

"Essential Extension When Sites Don't Like Firefox"
Pros: The Editors review says it all. You'd think by now web developers would be more careful to be sure their products work with all the popular browsers, but there are still a lot of pages out there that don't. IE Tab works as advertised, like a charm, making it fast and easy to switch between IE and FF within one application, saving time and system resources.

Pros: You can use microsoft update in firefox; right click and hit view page in IE tab
