IE Tab is a Web developer's dream, and it's a must-have for Firefox users who are sick of firing up Internet Explorer to view IE-only Web sites. Version 1.2 introduced an even-easier-to-use interface. The old methods still work, as in right-clicking a link to access the View in IE Tab option, or pasting the link directly into the interface options.

Now, IE Tab installs a Firefox logo on the browser's bottom taskbar. Left-clicking it re-opens the current page in IE. Middle-clicking opens the current page in a new tab with the IE engine. Right-clicking shows the site's filter, which allows you to always open listed sites in an IE tab. The new functions make switching among IE tabs and Firefox painless and smooth, even if the Options menu takes a bit to get used to. Most importantly, it minimizes the amount of time needed to switch between Firefox and IE, a feature all Firefox users can appreciate.
