IE Tab is a Web developer's dream, and it's a must-have for Firefox users who are sick of firing up Internet Explorer to view IE-only Web sites. Version 1.2 introduced an even-easier-to-use interface. The old methods still work, as in right-clicking a link to access the View in IE Tab option, or pasting the link directly into the interface options.
Now, IE Tab installs a Firefox logo on the browser's bottom taskbar. Left-clicking it re-opens the current page in IE. Middle-clicking opens the current page in a new tab with the IE engine. Right-clicking shows the site's filter, which allows you to always open listed sites in an IE tab. The new functions make switching among IE tabs and Firefox painless and smooth, even if the Options menu takes a bit to get used to. Most importantly, it minimizes the amount of time needed to switch between Firefox and IE, a feature all Firefox users can appreciate.Publisher's description

Version: IE Tab 1.3.3.20070528
Pros: This extension for Firefox lets to use Internet Explorer's rendering and view tabs using Internet Explorer. Very useful if you always use Firefox as a default browser, and very useful when needed to view certain sites only capable with IE. Easy to set up and recommended.
Cons: I don't always use this extension since it would have been so much faster to just load IE as a separate browser. For me, it took a while for Firefox to view and load a page using IE inside the browser.

Pros: Need to load a page that only works properly in IE? Just click the Firefox icon and blammo! you have the IE rendering engine right there in Firefox - easy, fast, and no need to go and open IE. You can switch engines on the fly, set the option to open in the current or a new tab, and even set a list of pages which should always load with the IE engine. It's unobtrusive but very useful.
Cons: The settings are not complicated, so take the time to pop in there and adjust this tool to your personal preferences. It's such a quiet and unassuming tool, it's easy to miss the fact that it can be configured to taste.

Pros: IE tab is great beacuse it lets you use internet explorer from inside firefox. No more opening a separate instance of IE.
Cons: Load times for IE can be a little longer than desired but over all it's a must have for your firefox tool box.

Pros: fixes most compatibility issues with firefox
Cons: To make full use of the extension you have to tweak some settings
Also, with the newer versions of firefox it is harder to find a use for it
