IE Tab is a Web developer's dream, and it's a must-have for Firefox users who are sick of firing up Internet Explorer to view IE-only Web sites. Version 1.2 introduced an even-easier-to-use interface. The old methods still work, as in right-clicking a link to access the View in IE Tab option, or pasting the link directly into the interface options.
Now, IE Tab installs a Firefox logo on the browser's bottom taskbar. Left-clicking it re-opens the current page in IE. Middle-clicking opens the current page in a new tab with the IE engine. Right-clicking shows the site's filter, which allows you to always open listed sites in an IE tab. The new functions make switching among IE tabs and Firefox painless and smooth, even if the Options menu takes a bit to get used to. Most importantly, it minimizes the amount of time needed to switch between Firefox and IE, a feature all Firefox users can appreciate.Publisher's description

"For average user, not intuitive in operation"
Pros: Cool feature. I like to see the pages I develop in IE from within Firefox.
Cons: Nobody tells you how to use it. I'm a developer and I had to fish around, ultimately right-mouse clicking the tab to 'switch rendering engine'...
Average users can't comprehend a phrase like that. Say 'view like IE' or something similar so that people can grok it.
And don't tell me it's meant to be arcane...

Pros: On websites that only work with IE all you need to do is click the icon. Thats it! The site comes across as IE and you can download things that only work on the IE browser.I use mozilla 99.9% of the time,so this has been helpful.
Cons: None that I have figured out, yet.

Pros: I could not stand having to open IE for specific webpages, having a separate icon in my launcher for it, etc. This completely eliminates the need for this.
Cons: Some pages do not format perfectly.
