IE Tab is a Web developer's dream, and it's a must-have for Firefox users who are sick of firing up Internet Explorer to view IE-only Web sites. Version 1.2 introduced an even-easier-to-use interface. The old methods still work, as in right-clicking a link to access the View in IE Tab option, or pasting the link directly into the interface options.
Now, IE Tab installs a Firefox logo on the browser's bottom taskbar. Left-clicking it re-opens the current page in IE. Middle-clicking opens the current page in a new tab with the IE engine. Right-clicking shows the site's filter, which allows you to always open listed sites in an IE tab. The new functions make switching among IE tabs and Firefox painless and smooth, even if the Options menu takes a bit to get used to. Most importantly, it minimizes the amount of time needed to switch between Firefox and IE, a feature all Firefox users can appreciate.Publisher's description

Version: IE Tab 1.0.9
Pros: This extension allows you to run Microsoft Update and other Internet Explorer only sites in Firefox without launching Internet Explorer, Maxthon or Avant Browser. Great extension that can be customized not to open IE, but any other browser that you want in a different window.
Cons: It sometimes causes Firefox to crash and send an error report.

Version: IE Tab 1.0.9
"Great for switching between IE and FF quickly!"
Pros: Just hit the little button on your status bar and the sites only for the overpopular IE will be viewable much faster than opening IE and going to the site.
Cons: Could use a bit of customization...like the option to move to a toolbar?

Version: IE Tab 1.0.9
Pros: I, like many other find IE Tab to be a very useful extension in my browsing habits. The basic principle behind IE Tab is to open a website via the Internet Explorer engine within a tab in Firefox. Of course this comes in very handy when visiting those nasty non-Firefox friendly sites we need access to.
IE tab also has 3 other handy features most people miss. The first is that if you press the control key when clicking on IE Tab it will open the page in the external browser rather then in the tab. The second is you can list sites in the options menu that will automatically be tabbed with the IE engine. Third, you can change the external browser it uses to open. This is great for those of you who enjoy IE clone browsers like Avant, Maxthon and others.
Cons: The reason this program doesnt get a five star rating is it still has problems opening some sites using the IE engine. I have gotten countless JavaScript errors on some sites and have to switch to the alternate extension (made by someone else) called IE View. I currently keep both extensions as I prefer to tab my IE needs, but when that fails I use IE View.

Version: IE Tab 1.0.9
"You can view sites you can't view on FF"
Pros: It's good for those new users who think IE is easier or better at first. Also can view sites you cannot on FireFox as well as added features (like cursors)
Cons: Why can't they just make FF able to see those pages as well as the cursors because IE sucks period

Version: IE Tab 1.0.9
"Allows you to use Internet Explorer without closing Firefox"
Pros: Does exactly what it claims to do, never gets in your way when you don't need it
Cons: Having multiple Firefox and IE tabs open at the same time really slows your system down
