IE Tab is a Web developer's dream, and it's a must-have for Firefox users who are sick of firing up Internet Explorer to view IE-only Web sites. Version 1.2 introduced an even-easier-to-use interface. The old methods still work, as in right-clicking a link to access the View in IE Tab option, or pasting the link directly into the interface options.
Now, IE Tab installs a Firefox logo on the browser's bottom taskbar. Left-clicking it re-opens the current page in IE. Middle-clicking opens the current page in a new tab with the IE engine. Right-clicking shows the site's filter, which allows you to always open listed sites in an IE tab. The new functions make switching among IE tabs and Firefox painless and smooth, even if the Options menu takes a bit to get used to. Most importantly, it minimizes the amount of time needed to switch between Firefox and IE, a feature all Firefox users can appreciate.Publisher's description

Version: IE Tab 1.0.6.4
"Very good idea / kind of good software."
Pros: It is convenient to place one button on the toolbar and switch browsing engines when surfing in a non firefox friendly site, and keeps you in the clean firefox tabbed feeling rather than entering into multiple windows in internet explorer.
Cons: Unsuprisingly, the incorporation of the internet explorer engine isn't brilliant and various script errors almost always occur, sometimes pages refuse to refresh at all and firefox pretty much rejects the integration of internet explorer. A good idea but definitely could be more smooth in function.

"Great for those "just in case" situations"
Pros: This is great for those "just in case" situations where you end up and a web page that can't load because it requires IE. This tool lets you load pages up in IE in a tab like any other firefox tab in the browser.
Cons: For some reason it does not seem fully compatible with the latest version. Some options are missing when i right click on a link on my Bookmark toolbar.

Version: IE Tab 1.0.6.4
Pros: I can now use Yahoo launch from within Firefox. This extension works great for those IE holdout sites that do not work correctly with Firefox.
Cons: Nothing

"awesome for using microsoft products online"
Pros: For most microsoft products you have to use internet explorer to get the extensions and downloads to work, but with this, you don't have switch back and forth!
