From Hyperionics Technology :

HyperCam is an application that captures the action on your screen and saves it to an AVI movie file. Your machine must run in 4-, 8-, or 16-bit color mode for the program to function. HyperCam can also record sound from your system microphone. New features include changes in the visual feedback of different HyperCam states (upon pause of recording, it will no longer display a big X across the recorded area; instead it will read "Recording to HyperCam - Paused"). Also, the icon shape in title bar and Taskbar button is changed.
