This simple little utility lets users schedule various shutdown tasks on their PCs. Though we would have liked to have seen more schedule options, it performed as promised.
Hyper Shutdown features a very simple user interface. The small window displays a list of actions, such as shutdown, restart, log off, hibernate, and set alarm. From there, all you have to do is simply enter the specific time or time frame that you want the program to perform the chosen action, and enter the number of seconds for the countdown warning. You can also select a file to execute before the action takes place. It worked without a hitch in our tests, and we appreciated the 10-second warning. The program's settings are minimal, and only allow you to change the beep frequency for the warning message or to exit without warning. Unfortunately, it doesn't include the option of setting multiple actions or multiple dates and times. You're limited to one action at a time, on the current day.
The program offers a Help link, but it merely takes you to the publisher's Web site, which lacks any real support. Still, for the price, this freeware tool is effective for hands-free shutdown options.

"Great for those times when you want to sleep with pc on"
Pros: I like going to slep with my pc music on. This program allows you to do that,and you pc wil shut down,standby etc. This is something you cant always do in the power options when some programs are running.
Cons: The main improvment id like to see in this product is,id like it if i could set the program up to turn of everyday at a set time. without keep resetting it each day.
Summary: The product is very user friendly,and i look forward to an everyday off function update
