Publisher's description
From Hybrid Server Pages Group :Hybrid Server Pages is a compiler from "Hybrid Java" (HJ)--a new language strictly defined through a merge of HTML and Java formal grammas. HJ is designed to program dynamic Web content as an alternative to JSP. Compared to JSP it needs less "glue" syntax, provides much more control at compilation time, hampers generation of erroneous HTML. HJ supports code reuse in the form of widgets, written in same language. Unlike tag libraries (or user tags) HJ widgets are multi-slot. Implementation presented as a JAR file outputs Java source code of dynamic pages. To install the product unzip the downloaded file in any directory and execute Run.bat. Take care about environment variable JDK. The run.bat calls HJ compiler for samples, calls javac and java for the generated code. The result is in a form of HTML files.
Version 0.85 changes the format of generated java code (to draw a page one has to simply call a static method in the page class); adds a simple sample application that uses HSP generated code.
Note: the application is free for non-commercial use. For other pricing information contact the developer.
