This version is designed for use on Palm III organizers running Palm OS 3.0 software. All of the features of the Palm Desktop 3.0 software may not be supported on previous Palm OS versions 1.0.x or 2.0.x. The HotSync 3.0.1 software update adds support for installation of third-party application files during the HotSync process.
