From HotRecorder :HotRecorder VoIP allows you to record and add emotisounds (lively sound effects) to voice communications held over the Internet. HotRecorder VoIP also includes voicemail for Skype and Google talk. HotRecorder VoIP is an application that works in conjunction with Skype, Google Talk, Yahoo! Messenger 7, AIM, Net2Phone, and FireFly without diminishing these applications functionalities.
The voicemail for Skype and Google talk feature includes, among other things, an e-mail alert that automatically sends you the voice mail file wherever you are in the world. The features of HotRecorder VoIP include, but are not limited to, recording tools, adding emotisounds, filing, searching, sending via e-mail, or playing back your conversations and conference calls. The program also includes full compatibility and voicemail for Google Talk.

Version: HotRecorder 2.0.1
"Hotrecorder, the best Skype recorder in the market"
Pros: User friendly
Outstanding recording quality
Enables you to search files using keywords
Emotisounds are very funny
Paid version has audio converter which enables you to export files to .ogg and wav.
Cons: I didn't like the free version because it has advertising (although it's clearly marked as such)

Pros: Easy to work with.
Excellent recording quality.
Enables you to search and retrieve your recordings in a logical way.
Emotisounds are great!
Audio Converter (paid version) enables you to export your files to standard audio formats.
No VAC required.
Cons: Didn't like the free version because of the advertising, so I bought the Premium version for 15 bucks.

Version: HotRecorder 2.0.1
"Hotrecorder UNRELIABLE & DANGEROUS."
Pros: The product is totally unreliable and dangerous: DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING IMPORTANT TO RECORD. It loses recordings. Try PAMELA.
Cons: I have lost 2 important recordings trying to use this thing. It hangs up when you try to close it or close Skype and loses your recordings. I have switched to PAMELA. I would give it a minus 5 if it were possible.
