From HotRecorder :HotRecorder 4Voip allows you to record and add emotisounds (lively sound effects) to voice communications held over the Internet. HotRecorder 4Voip also includes voicemail for Skype and Google talk. HotRecorder 4Voip is an application that works in conjunction with Skype, Google Talk, Yahoo! Messenger, AIM, Net2Phone, and FireFly without diminishing these applications functionalities.
The voicemail for Skype and Google talk feature includes, among other things, an e-mail alert that automatically sends you the voice mail file wherever you are in the world. The features of HotRecorder 4Voip include, but are not limited to, recording tools, adding emotisounds, filing, searching, sending via e-mail, or playing back your conversations and conference calls. The program also includes full compatibility and voicemail for Google Talk. Version 2.1.4 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"This program is junk and does not work."
Cons: I bought this piece of junk and it does not work. I tried to record a skype conference. My voice came out just fine but the voice of the other participant sounded as if it was in slow motion. I repeatedly wrote to the company and never got a response. I asked for a refund through Skype and they claimed they cannot refund defective products. This is a scam.

Pros: I downloaded and tested HotRecorder. I actually liked it. All I wanted was something that would record Skype calls...that is all.
Cons: I clicked on purchase serial number from my demo software already downloaded. I was forwarded to a site and paid for the software...not realizing that this company sold differenct types of software and that I was directed to their 'Media' software. I sent numerous emails to "support@hotrecorder.com" with ZERO responses. At first all I wanted was for them to void the erroneous serial number that would not work on the hotrecorder software and it would be a win-win situation. Now all I want is my money back and to never have to do business with this company again. It is clear to me now that in an effort to make more money they automatically send you to another one of their products when you try to make a purchase thinking that you will simply go back and buy the other one. This is a scam and unethical. If I could give minus stars I would.

"Hot Recorder DOES NOT Work...NO Support offered either!!!"
Cons: I tested the free download/demo...it worked with Skype. I purchased the full version...it DID NOT WORK. Emailed their support email...NO RESPONSE NO HELP provided by HotRecorder. Shame on HotRecorder to continue selling a product on their website that does not work on current Skype versions, and shame on them for NOT Responding to my requests for support.

Cons: the company has the worst customer service i've experienced. the product works fine the first time you register. but if you ever re-install windows it will tell you that you already registered!!!! i have never had software do this to me. the first time i was frustrated but i sent them an email and they fixed it. but this time they wont respond to me emails. i can't believe i paid money to be treated like this.
