A Hoecker-Plot is a fast graphical evaluation for digital proofs based on CIEDE2000 color difference formula. Use your X-Rite EyeOne ("i1 Pro") spectrophotometer to scan one of the common media wedges (Fogra) or control strips (IDEAlliance/GRACoL) and within a second you can see how good your proof performs in comparison to a reference printing condition or ICC-Profile. As a bonus feature you get a full ISO 12647-7:2007 compliant validation bar evaluation, so you are still compatible with the industry standard. Issue a report or certification label print for the current job to proof your proof quality to your customers.
