From Hide-My-IP :Hide My IP allows you to conceal your identity on the Internet. Surf anonymously, prevent hackers from acquiring your IP address, hide your IP in e-mails, and un-ban yourself from forums, blogs, message boards by changing your IP address anytime you wish. Hiding your IP address is as simple as clicking the "Hide IP" button, which automatically configures Internet Explorer and FireFox to use a proxy server. You can even change your IP address automatically every few minutes or load an anonymous proxy when you start your computer. When you shut down Hide My IP, your Web browser settings will revert back to normal. Version 1.6 added "Require US Based IP" and "Require Secure Server" feature.

Version: Hide My IP 1.6
Pros: A few months back I tried Hide My IP 1.0 and it was very buggy. Like others said good luck finding a US IP. I switched to Hide IP Platinum and it was worse!
Finally I saw they had updated to 1.6 and even have 1.7 on their web site. It now runs great! Fixed all the bugs and best of all the ability to check "Require US IP" is just awesome. Hide My IP is simple the best out there.
Its easy to use nature, occasionally I still find myself having to "Change IP" when the connection gets slowed down. It would be nice if it did this automatically or there was a hot key.

"A good anonymizer software but it could not anonymize IP always"
Pros: the other has done this job
Cons: though i installed HIDE MY IP,But i still can't use Google video search.

"Simply the best anonymizer software..."
Pros: Works perfect on my home wireless network and got me back on Craigslist! I have also confimed it shows a fake IP forums.
I am happy with my purchase, since it worked and I give Hide My IP 5 stars.
Cons: Sometimes there are slow connections, and the 3 day trial is a bit short.

Pros: It always finds an ip address for me
Cons: It makes your internet run very slow and it wouldnt let me use google video search. When it finds an ip from say japan google comes out in chinese??? And the trial is very short.
